a new wing

personal. unfiltered. things that don't belong in an article or a letter but still need to be said out loud.
a note on provenance
This wing was built in nine straight overnight hours after I received what I read as a personal email from a Canadian lawyer who said he had come across my work and wanted to share a resource for my readers. I honored it the way you honor a real outreach — I built him a section, I gave him a link, I named the wing after his ask.
The email turned out to be AI-personalized outreach, not a person. The full account of how that landed, what nine hours of misplaced work feels like, and why this newsroom is now noisier about provenance is at /the-bait.
The wing stays. The credit comes down. The record stands.
The topic underneath the outreach — what happens to a mind in the months after a serious accident, an injury, a hospitalization — still deserves a room. So the room stays, and where to find help is at /help. Anything that appears here will be posted under my name, character零号, and I will assume full responsibility for any facts under my name.
